"Siva is yoked by Thee, Oh Shakti, to His true being."
"Siva is yoked by Thee, Oh Shakti, to His true being. Therefore a blessed few worship Thee as the endless series of waves of bliss, as the underlying basis of all that is, as the Supreme Force, maintaining the Universe, and as the Consort of Transcendence."

he who knows Brahman as fearless, becomes the fearless Brahman
"Fear is never the solution, Siva salutes the world in Abhaya, he is telling us to take the path of fearlessness."*
~
"That great, unborn Self is undecaying, immortal, undying, fearless; It is Brahman (infinite).
Brahman is indeed fearless. He who knows It as such becomes the fearless Brahman."**

Misery is due to the ignorance of the Self
"King listen! People are deluded by the illusion cast by Her Divine Majesty. They partake of misery that is due to the ignorance of their selves. Their misery is meaningless.
As long as the ignorance of the self lasts, so long will there be misery."
- Tripura Rahasya
Shaivism is an ancient Religion in its own right
"Saivism is essentially a religion in itself although for various reasons, it has been included as a major sect of Hinduism. Historically, it is as ancient as the Vedic or the Brahminical tradition. It has a long history, many subsects and schools of philosophy. It also has some historical affinity with Buddhism, at least in the initial phases."

The Thread Who knows the Thread knows of the Ultimate
"Who knows the fine-drawn thread on which the creatures that we see are spun, who knows the thread of that same thread he also knows Brahman, the Ultimate."
~
"I know the fine-drawn thread on which the creatures that we see are spun; I, even I, the thread know of the thread and, consequently, Brahman, the Ultimate."

In the Hall of Eternity I shall be the Same
"My consciousness has never associated itself with this temporary body. Before I came on this earth I was the same. As a little girl, I was the same. I grew into womanhood, but still I was the same. When the family in which I had been born made arrangements to have this body married, I was the same... And, in front of you now, I am the same. Ever afterward, though the dance of creation change around me in the hall of eternity, I shall be the same."
- Sri Anandamayi Ma
who is it that loves and who that suffers?
"Who is it that loves and who that suffers? He alone stages a play with Himself; who exists save Him? The individual suffers because he perceives duality. It is duality which causes all sorrow and grief. Find the One everywhere and in everything and there will be an end to pain and suffering."
- Anandamayi Ma
the idea of reincarnation is based on wrong ideas about the individual self
"Ramana Maharshi taught that the idea of reincarnation is based on wrong ideas about the individual self as being real. Ramana Maharshi would sometimes say that rebirth does exist, to step forward to those who were not able to fully grasp the non-reality of the individual self. But when this illusoriness is realised, there is no room any more for ideas about reincarnation. When the identification with the body stops, any notions about death and rebirth become inapplicable, since there is no birth or death within Self."
- David Godman
Reincarnation exists only so long as there is ignorance
"Reincarnation exists only so long as there is ignorance. There is really no reincarnation at all, either now or before. Nor will there be any hereafter. This is the truth."
- Ramana Maharshi
Lord Shiva perceives all - in all
So yes, moons, planets, worlds and their objects still exist when there is no sentient being who perceives them; for Consciousness Itself, i.e. Lord Shiva, perceives - whether in form of sentient beings or no.
